Meet the Team
The people behind The Boob Bus — passionate about making breast health accessible for every woman.

Rena Jean
Rena Jean is a mom, daughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin, and friend. Best friend. Aside from raising her two energetic and inquisitive boys, she tries to be an "entrepreneur" and run The Boob Bus.
Rena attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison (BS, Psychology), Indiana University (MS, Medical Genetics & Genetic Counseling), and the University of Utah (Executive MBA and MBC). She is a board-certified genetic counselor licensed in the state of Utah. She almost officially changed her name to Rena Gene. Still might.
Rena has worked in academia as well as the genetic and healthcare industries and is thrilled to now work for herself and her MBA classmate, Mike. Together they are excited to bring a business that really matters to their community. They'll do this with education, empathy, and elbow grease. Save the corporate and political BS.

Mike & Kassidy
Mike and Kassidy both have accounting backgrounds. Mike graduated with his accounting degree and then received his MBA at the University of Utah. Kassidy graduated with her degree in Accounting and Business Management from Southern Utah University. They both love numbers and their spreadsheets.
Together they have 4 kids and as you can imagine, it's a party. Kassidy spends her time with them at home and homeschools their two oldest kids. She also lends her financial and managerial prowess to Mike and Rena.
Mike was one of the first to hear Rena's nascent "bus idea" and encouraged its development. He could see it when few others could and, together, they made it happen. Mike is pretty good at spreadsheets and financial models and handles all things finance with The Boob Bus.

Suzy
Suzy is a registered mammography tech and has enjoyed playing an important role in women's health for years. Right out of high school, she worked as a medical assistant in an OB/GYN office for six years before deciding to go back to school and pursue a career in mammography.
Suzy received her training through Salt Lake Community College and completed her clinical training at Huntsman Cancer Institute where she performed screening exams, and compassionately walked the path of unknowns with patients as she performed diagnostic imaging and assisted in biopsies.
Needing special care beyond a screening mammogram can be scary and Suzy has been grateful to play a role, though small, in women's different journeys. Suzy is so excited to be part of The Boob Bus team and to continue to educate women about their breast health and share in preventative care.
Suzy is also a mom to two rambunctious boys and enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and good Mexican food.

Jen
Jen has been in the medical billing and coding field for over 20 years. She is both a certified professional coder and certified professional biller, as well as a certified professional coder–instructor through AAPC.
Jen and Rena got to know one another while building a revenue cycle management process and department at a small genetic testing laboratory for many years.
Jen is the mom of 3 grown sons and a proud grandma to the cutest little man in the world. She enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She loves new challenges and is SO excited to be part of The Boob Bus!

Kayla Bair-Pacheco
Kayla is the healthcare coordinator as well as bus driver for The Boob Bus. She joined the team in October 2024 but has been serving patients since 2018! From insurance and benefits to direct patient contact, Kayla has been an outgoing, supportive, and reliable part of the process.
A majority of her career in healthcare has been spent in the genetic testing of children diagnosed with autism, and handling the financial side of services.
Outside of work she is a mom of 9 — 2 girls, 2 boys, 1 step-son, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She loves cooking, being outdoors, traveling, playing board games and so much more. She is so happy to be part of The Boob Bus team in making a difference in women's lives all over Utah!
